Great tubing experience. It's calm and relaxing. Plenty of sandbars to stop on and picnic. Great cooler floats for your snacks and drinks. Staff was helpful and kind. Would definitely recommend.
If you want a slice of nature this is where you'll want to go! It's a great park; tubing, kayaking, canoeing, camping, horseback riding and more.
Great Park with plenty of trails and things to do. I would have rated it 5 stars but I had a couple of issues. The 30amp power would not work, thankfully I had a 50amp adapter. Also cell service is pretty bad with AT&T.
The nature trails are long and bring you around the park to see Louisiana and the Bogue Chitto River. We love to bring the dogs out for the day!
The Gorge Run trail showcases a surprising degree of topology for the area. The park provides easy access to it's water filled former gravel pits, a swampy area with cypresses, and the Bogue Chitto itself with convenient parking steps away.
