Perfect to go relax and enjoy the day with some friends, get a tan, swim, hangout on sandbars, and do pretty much whatever you want.
Always a great time at Wayne's World! Great event for a group of friends, get to flow down the river and stop at the beaches for snacks and drinks. They are cash only so remember to bring cash when going there! Not a bad idea to bring rope or things to tie you and your friends in a big group. We all huddled around each other this past weekend and it was a blast!
This weekend was the first time I ever went tubing and as someone from the north, it was a "cultural" experience. Basically, tubing is like a floating picnic with a lot of beer. You buy a raft for yourself and one for your cooler, you take a yellow school bus to the drop off point, and you float down river. You meet some interesting people going down stream. Some were nice country folk who like to talk and listen to CCR and there were annoying, belligerent young adults.
Had a blast!! The people were super friendly and even waited for he rest of our group to show up so we could do the 4 hour float!! They check your keys for free (more for them than for you) one less thing to worry about on the river so grab some friends and go you'll have fun
While everything looked great, the place was open for two hours knowing the river was too high to tube and neglected to post about it on their website and social media. We drove 40 minutes out only to be turned away once we got there.
Overall, it was nice, relaxing, and a great way to hang out with friends and drink.
